Teaching is central to my intellectual life as a scholar. My teaching interests span work and employment studies, social studies of technology, general sociology (introduction to sociology, theory, methods), and social changes in East Asian societies, at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Previously at Oxford, I have taught students from the BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree, MSc in Sociology, and BA in Asian Studies. Currently at Leicester, I mainly teach students from the BA and MSc in Management degree. From 2026-27 onwards, I will be leading a new module on AI and work. I have experience teaching small seminars and large lectures of over 500 students.
